DVD: Music of Christ - A Course In Miracles

Resta began studying A Course In Miracles in1978, a short time after the book was published. She studied it for a few years and then joined a spiritual community that was not associated with the Course. She came back to the Course again later but felt like she was coming to a place of stagnation and wasn't coming to a place of experiential peace and joy that she knew was her natural inheritance. Resta still felt stuck on many things so she would come over to the PeaceHouse in Cincinnati, Ohio to talk with Enlightened ACIM teacher David Hoffmeister about the practcal application of A Course In Miracles to her mind. They would sit at the kitchen table and chat. She began listening to many cassette tapes of gatherings that David had done over many years on the metaphysics and application of A Course In Miracles, and often she would take long walks in the large cemetery near the house, listening to the many cassette tapes on her player and headset. She would boil her questions down to one main question or topic, "A Question/Topic of the Day," and would later sit down with David and discuss it, going into it very deeply. Then she would experience the Answer as an insight. Then, shortly thereafter, the angels would give her a song in her mind (almost like giving a dog a treat or like giving a child a piece of candy) every time she had cleared her mind. Every time she opened the channel of her mind she would receive these harmonious songs after a talk with David. She'd receive the lyrics and the music in her mind and then record them in a small recorder and later record them as songs for the CDs, though she was not trained as a musician. Even though Resta can't read music, the angels would use her willingness to Awaken and give her the songs and the lyrics as a gift of Love to be shared with the world.
